Every day scenes come and go that reveal the larger world around us. My obsession with finding and freezing them has driven me to shoot continuously for as long as 29 hours (with a 3 hour nap!). I never quite know what serendipity will bring - the frivolity of dogs in the surf or misery and isolation.

While I do some color work, the direct and simplifying effect of black and white keeps pulling me back in.

I currently have three projects ongoing, "Signs of Life", "One" and "Urban Isolation". The latter may expand to include "Urban Connection" and "Urban Contention" as a three part series.
